FBLA is off to a great start this year! Activities began with an ice cream social and election of officers.

The first stop for the 2011-12 year was the annual regional training in Colusa on September 12. Members are now concentrating on earning awards, learning how to win friends and influence people, studying best practices for college scholarship applications, and learning to write powerful resumes.
FBLA members will serve as Ambassadors to the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce, again this year. Also on the agenda, is securing internships for college credit.
Alumni FBLA members (class of 2011) Justine Ekdawy and Lindsay Barnett, recently completed their internships through our alliance with the Yuba College internship program.
