Tell us a little about your family: I was born and raised in Shalersville, Ohio, but I moved to California from Raleigh, North Carolina.  I got married in the summer of 2016 to an FCS alum--Kent Pond.

What is your favorite meal?  A steak burrito bowl from Chipotle!

What other interesting jobs have you had?  Resident companion at an assisted living home, hostess/server at a restaurant, library assistant...etc.

If you could go on vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?  A month long tour of Europe!

What do you like to do in your spare time?  Read, watch Netflix, play games with friends, and spend time with my husband

How do you serve in other areas of ministry outside of FCS?  My husband and I attend River Valley Church, where we serve on the worship team as an A/V duo--he does sound, I do slides!  It's really great to be able to serve together in this way. We are also very involved in a gospel community group through our church.

What is your favorite Bible verse?  Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

The best part about following Jesus is...knowing, no matter what, God is in control.

What do you love most about your area of service at Faith Christian?  I love having the privilege to get to know and form relationships with my students.

What is a favorite memory of FCS?  There are so many--winning Sky Mountain last year, a surprise bridal shower thrown by my consumer math students my first year, and learning how to be a cheer coach are among the top favorites, though.

How have you been ministered to at Faith Christian?  The staff here is a phenomenal group of people. They are so encouraging and supportive of me and my walk with Christ. The highlight of my day is our 7:30 meeting where we spend time in fellowship, the Word, and prayer for our students and our school.
