Matthew DeMeritt (1997)

Matthew Graduated in 1997 before marrying Crystal (Hannold) DeMeritt (1995).  Matt's early career was spent on the stage rather than in a director's chair; having originally trained as an actor. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, with a performance emphasis at San Diego State University before going on to training with the Society of American Fight Directors. An early opportunity to create a children's theatre company with his wife at the FCS Players, however, instilled in him a love for directing. Matthew DeMeritt joined Valley Christian School in 2002 as director of theatre arts and he's been at it ever since.

Mathew is the son of Paul & Anne DeMeritt of Yuba City.
