CJSF Members Participate in “Operation Christmas Child”
Fifteen Faith Christian Jr. High California Junior Scholarship Federation members prepared approximately 20 Christmas gift boxes this month. The boxes were picked up by a member of the Samaritan’s Purse organization, who prayed with our students, over the decorated boxes and the children who will receive them this Christmas.
Each shoe box is filled with assorted gifts that are either girl or boy specific and each box also includes an age-appropriate booklet with the gospel of Jesus. These gifts are distributed to needy children around the world.
CJSF is an organization that emphasizes high standards of scholarship and community service for California junior high school students. Jr. high teacher, Bernie Villavicencio is the FCS advisor for our Faith Christian team.
Operation Christmas Child is a program of the Samaritan’s Purse a Christ-centered international relief organization.
